My mom has exactly that kind of pain and sometimes she feels simply overwhelmed. Unfortunately, no physician nor medication have been of any help. I would like her to try the locust pose but the muscles around her hips have grown so weak over the years, that she couln´t lift a leg a bit without experiencing excruciating pain. What would you recommend under the circumstances? Thanks a lot for your inputs, Esther, you are very kind. Namaste.

@phunkyboy yoga helps, but yoga is usually practiced hand in hand with a healthy life-style and simple innovation. This does not mean “don’t eat red meat”, or such things. Just minding what u do. For example, only eating high-protien/high carbohydrate meals after strenuous activity, things like that. You do neccessarily change your life, but how you life it.
Beautiful.
What a BAD ASS place to do yoga. If i had this backdrop as my back yard, I’d me a yogi master!
This is a great DVD! The best thing about it is that you can pick which poses you want to do, and create your own yoga routine.
I love this… what a video, it’s total heaven to a piscean like me
I actually have this entire yoga series on DVD. It’s quite tough for me and challenging on many levels. I’m 49 though….LOVE it however!
