Yoga is Hindu and Harry Potter is witchraft.
Some Christians oppose them because they bring people joy and are not related to Jesus, so they have to go.
I don’t think I’d say “many Christians,” since most know better.

Basically they are scared. Christianity has a loooong history, in stopping advancement of Science and the arts.

I prohibit yoga! AND HARRY POTTER! Since when? Oh geeze does this mean I have to cancel my gym membership and burn my Harry Potter DVD’s?

Yoga has an element of Hindu worship in it…and that is the main reason I won’t go to a yoga class.
Harry Potter does celebrate witchcraft, but then many other stories do, also. Personally I believe that is a great opportunity to teach children the difference between fantasy and reality.
