but when was the last time you saw a jacked vegan?
Chris is a certified stud! GREAT answer bro!
@TheRogueMonk You could read the 80-10-10 book from Dr. Graham, that will clarify a lot of what you’re asking. Chris follows that diet, the Low Fat Raw Vegan, which consists mostly of fruits to get enough calories per day. By eating fruit the amount of food eaten is less than the amount of veggies you would need to eat to get the same amount of calories. Fruit is the star of this diet, although vegetables too. In any case you need to eat very large amounts of food. Fats are avoided
@TheRogueMonk only if its free man.. only if its free….
i cant afford to eat so much fruit as you do man.. fruit here is not cheap
but you eat too much fruit lLOL if you eat anything in that quantity you get protein.. but are you against vegetables? i dont see you eat too much vetgetables… ? i thought vegetables is easier to eat ..
@TheVLtor Its strange, I learnt that Fruits and vegetables are the most healthful foods one can eat when I was In School for Nutrition 8 years ago. Since then I have eaten a diet consisting entirely of Fresh Raw Fruits and Vegetables with some Nuts/seeds and have only seen increases in every measurable faucet of health. After havin been tested extensively by 2 MD’s (3 years in a row) with full blood n urine work, 2 PT’s/DC’s each saying I have the best results they have ever seen. Bunk? hahah
@TheRogueMonk for a few questions yes, if you wish to go more in depth my email address and a consult is much better
@ck1nsh cant i just write to you into your channel?

@Klytemnest It all depends upon what type of vegan diet you follow. True if your diet is based around Cooked Grains and Processed vegan foods there are predicable issues. On the other hand if your diet is made up entirely of or mostly of a variety of Whole Fresh Ripe Raw Organic Fruits and Vegetables your Golden. Many Fruits n nearly all vegetables contain al 8 of the essential Amino acids we need to make protein structures.
@TheRogueMonk if you wish to learn more through a consult with me email me at info @ the-raw-advantage . com take out all the spaces
@TheRogueMonk Blessings, myself I follow a High fruit low fat 100% raw vegan program filled with lots of greens. On average I eat 6 – 8 lbs of fruit and 1 – 4 lb of veggies per day. Ive followed this for nearing 8 years and had blood work 3 years in a row. Each and ever Doctor, PT or Naturopath I have seen has all told me after extensive testing that I had the best test results they have ever seen. Fruits on average contain 4 – 8 % protein, or rather Amino acids, the Building Blocks of protein.
@ck1nsh so what do you sugest for me to do? … well fruit are ver filling… anyu food that fills the stomach too much will make you fat or atleast troubled…
i know that nuts contain good protien and calories… but fruits?
i truly want to learn to eat green diet but its so new and ironically that is exactly what we lack these days…. we should be expertes at eating green why are we not? it was the first things on earth… still we are only experts at meat .. what is pasta and spagheti
Where Do Cows And Chickens Get Protein If They Eat Plants….Hmmm
@TheRogueMonk Blessings
The trick is to look at protien per calorie, not per Weight. Fruits and veg contain more than enough viable protein when you consume enough to fulfil your caloric needs, this is why Carb Based Raw foodists eat such High volumes of food. @Klytemnest When you eat a healthful raw vegan diet of a range of Fresh Fruits, Vegetables nuts and seeds you do not run into those AA problems. This is a reason why a Simple low fat raw diet is lightyears ahead of a cooked vegan diet
I think it is a disservice to the cause of veganism and health to tell people that they don’t need to worry about protein. Most plant foods do not provide the essential amino acids in the proportion in which we need them in order to make our own protein. Jack Norris has recommendation for minimum amounts, and he’s discovered that vegans who do not worry about protein are likely to be deficient in lysine. The solution? Less grains, more legumes.
@TheRogueMonk: try cooking beans a bit longer, perhaps 80-90 minutes; that should help. Peas and lentils (the other vegan protein superheroes) are easier to digest. Also, pistachios and pumpkin seeds are a decent source of protein, and more to the point, lysine, the amino acid we are most likely to be deficient in. Crimini mushrooms are 37% protein!
Best answer hands down. I’ll use thus next time I need it.
@nextinline777 i think i am sensetive to beans… cause it gets hot or something… now i dont have anything to replaace it.. can you help me putt a good vegan diet high protien vegan diet ?
i am so new to all these… all i know is that plant foods are very low in protein
